How many weddings would TGK Photography Ltd undertake in a day?

We undertake one wedding per day so the whole day is devoted to you. My assistant and I will typically photograph from your preparations in the morning through to the start of your sit down meal.

What equipment is used?

We use a range of professional camera equipment from Nikon and Hasselblad. A portable indoor studio is also used where indoor shots are necessary and we need to enhance lighting conditions.

How many photographs will we have to choose from when the album is being created?

We take an unlimited number of photographs throughout the day, the number of which depends on how long we are there for and the number of locations used throughout the day. After your honeymoon, you come along to our home studio and relax while you view the photographs and decide on which ones you wish to have in your album. With our expertise and experience, we will be there to help you design your album. Any extra prints required above the package selected can be paid for individually.

What are the advantages of hiring a professional?

A professional photographer will be timely - arriving at your wedding promptly, and getting the results to you on time. A professional has just the right equipment and film for photographing your wedding. Having attended many weddings, an experienced wedding photographer will be at ease at your wedding. A professional uses a specialised photograph developing laboratory that is designed specifically to meet high professional standards. A professional is used to working with individuals, couples, and groups to make the formal photography go smoothly. When you think about the cost of photography, remember that the photographer's fee is only part of your investment: You, your parents, your extended family and your friends will be investing time with the photographer during your wedding. Don't waste time on your wedding day with a photographer who won't produce the results you love.

We live outside your immediate area – are you willing to travel and what costs are involved?

We are more than happy to travel any distance for your wedding and in most cases this does not add any further expense. However, if it is a great distance we would agree a sensible fee to cover the cost of fuel and as on the odd occasion, overnight accommodation.

What can we do to help you perform your role as our wedding photographer to the best of your ability?

There are two things that I ask to make picture taking at the wedding go smoothly. Everyone arrives on time and no other photographer (amateur or professional) takes pictures whilst I am doing my job.
