Tom’s interest for many years now has been photography. This all began with him using a small plastic throwaway toy camera to record happy memories at the seaside with his beloved family.

Since those early days by the sea Tom’s interest in photography has grown into his passion. His toy camera has long been replaced with up to date models from Nikon and Hasselblad.

Tom now lives and works on the edge of the Derbyshire Peak District having access to some of the most beautiful countryside, which provides passion and inspiration in all aspects of his photography.

Tom prides himself in ensuring he is up to date with the ever-changing trends and fashions in photography attending seminars and training courses meeting like-minded photographers, to share and exchange ideas and thoughts.

Tom enjoys travelling the world, photographing in diverse places such as Bosnia, Spain and North America. This enables him to stretch and challenge his creative mind bringing back ideas to use at home when photographing people and places in Derbyshire and surrounding areas.
